"I purchased and engine from R.J. Auto Recyclers in November for my 1995 Mercedes Benz E300D. This was a diesel engine they had sitting in the car for a year. Due to the price of the engine, I wanted to hear it run and they obliged. I drove about 25 minutes south and when I got there they sent me into the junk yard to listen to the car. The only thing thay had to do to get it running was to install a good charged battery. As soon as the battery was installed, the yard guy turned the key to let the glow plugs warm up one time and then when the light went out, he turnede the key and with-in about 2 cranks the car was running perfectly without him having to keep his foot on the gas to keep it idling. The engine sounded as if it had been sitting for only a day or so. I paid them for the engine, they told me the day it would be pulled and they would call me. Two days later, I went to pick it up and they had it VERY clean, on a skid, tied down, all holes plugged with caps and no wires were cut in order to ease the installation. The shop installed the engine in my car the day after I dropped it off and I went to pick it up and was very surprised to the quality and sound of the engine. Alot of diesels are noisy but this one was not "clanky" sounding at all. The shop did a great job and the service from RJ's after the sale was very good. The salesman even called me a week later to check on the status and to make sure I was happy. This does not normally happen with junk yards. Most I have been to are trashy and the engines are nasty and cut wires all over the place. RJ's had a nice facility, an extremely courteous staff and they were very fast to follow up after the sale. For a group of young adults running that place, I was extremely surprised at the service and friendliness I receied. If you need a part, call them. I am sure you will be as happy as I was after my purchase. They also are having a special going on if you leave feedback here about the product, service and overall satisfaction, they will refund you %5 of the total purchase price. I called them after it was installed and running, told them I left feedback and they issued a refund to my card that very day. Great bunch of guys and keep up the good work. Not too many junk yards will give this type of service anymore. A+++++"
